- London, July 2. Telegrams from Berlin state that the Kaiser is taking every opportunity to show that Germany is in the position'to be America's powerful friend. He paid conspicuous attentions to Mr. Andrew Carnegie at Kiel, and to the American Ambassador on other occasions.
