The steamer Kildale, a fine-looking vessel ol tile cargo-carrying type, arrived from Valparaiso yesterday afternoon for docking and coaling. Cap tain Mil.ner, who is to command, reports leaving the- west coast American port on June 4, and ex. ' periehced moderate weather until nearrrig'the New Zealand coast on Tuesday. A hard gale from between north-east .and south-east, with thick dirty weather, then set in, continuing throughout the ' night until yesterday morning, when Cuvier light was picked up. The weather then moderated, although the wind continued strong.
