PAEROA NEWS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Paeroa, Weduesday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day John Forrest was fined £1 and costs 7s for being on licensed promises, during the. currency of a. prohibition order. A prohibition order was issued by consent against a Maori named Watson.
At the half-yearly meeting of the Loyal Jubilee Lodge of Oddfellows, Bro. F. Shaw, deputy-provincial grandmaster, installed the officers as follows:—N.G., Bro. Parry; V.G., Bro. Sanderson; G.M., Bro. Roberts. The other officers appointed were: Bros. .1. R. Hesp and E. Edwards, supporters N.G.; 8r05... Millar and Donnelly, supporters V.G.; warden, Bro. Goon an; 1.G., Bro. Roberts; treasurer. Bro. Carder; auditors, Bros. Silcoek and Hesp. The rainfall at Paeroa for the month of June was 3.61 i».
