INDIAN MAIL CONTRACT.
AN INDIGNANT PUBLIC. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. London, July 1. Reuter's Simla correspondent reports that the Indian press and public are indignant over the terms of the new mail contract between Great Britain and India. They complain that no provision is made for the progressive diminution of the voyage, and that there is no proviso by which India will benefit from improvements, in marine propulsion.
