London, Juno 30. Madame Clara Butt (Mrs. Kennedy Rumford), the celebrated contralto, and Mr. Kennedy Rumford had an enthusiastic reception at their farewell concert in the 'Royal Albert Hall prior to their tour of Australia.
Queen Alexandra wrote, regretting that she was unable to be present, and wishing Madame Butt success in her tour.
