ANOTHER GUN ACCIDENT.
[BY telegraph.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
Te Aroha, Monday. A young man, Francis Shine, son of Mr. James Shine, settler, Waihou, was accidentally shot while duck shooting at Waitoa. It appears that lie was in front of his mate, named J. O'Grady. O'Grady fell, and the gun going off the charge entered Shine's thigh.
Shine was brought in to Te Aroha and attended by Dr. Kenny, who dressed the wound and sent him to the hospital by the first train this morning.
