SATISFACTORY TESTS, [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] : ; Dtjnedin, Monday. In the course of an interview on Saturday, Mr.' Goodman, - city electrical engineer, stated -that he had carried out several series of very exhaustive tests of the whole of the Waipori power scheme,i in order to see hoW the total efficiency of : the hydraulic and electric portions compared with his calculations. , Mr. Goodman regards the results as highly satisfactory. The trams are running very satisfactorily on the Waipori power, and two factories are also being , run by the same paeans, while the railway station, Messrs.
