,'i \ [BY ? TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ' •■-,., Dtjnedin, Monday. Speaking at '.Moray Place Congregational Church yesterday the Rev. W. Saunders, said : " We must recognise that in New Zealand a great deal is being done to fill the minds- 'of; children with good , and noble thoughts. The State schools are splendidly conducted. Their tone is excellent \ and the precepts inculcated are of the highest, and we may thank God that the educational interests of. the colony are in the hands of men of noble ideals and who are determined to put their ideals into practice. But the Sunday-school can never be displaced by. the Stat* schools. It is in Sun-day-school that the. child is:, early taught to ' sense' the genuinely beautiful. In all the land there is nothing quite so good as Sun-day-school." " ; ,: ; w.';',. ;.••.,.
