MR. BOTHA'S DEPARTURE.

King Edward ; gave a ; special audience to the Premier of the Transvaal (Mr. Botha) prior to his departure for South Africa on Saturday. There was a large crowd at Waterloo Station to bid Mr. Botha farewell, and among those present were General Lord Methuen and the Under-Secretary for the Colonies (Mr. Churchill). . Numberless floral gifts were made to the Misses Botha. Mr. Botha left a message for the people of Great Britain, ? thanking them for the sympathy and kindness they had shown him.
