In almost every walk in life instances can bo. found of simple incidents that have materially changed the course of the world's history. Take the case of electricity, for example. To the accidental rubbing of -amber is probably due the birth of that science. How much the world now owes to electricity it, would bo difficult to say. Then, again; with food and drink. To the comparatively simple fact of rendering cocoa soluble is ' due the growth •of that, industry. The founder of tho firm of.Van Houten was tho discoverer of this process, and Van Houten's Cocoa is still recognised as the best throughout the world. It is a pure, soluble, easily digested, and highly nourishing cocoa. It does not pall upon the taste, and it is cheap to use, because a little goes . a long way.
