'■ White to play and draw. », LEYS INSTITUTE DRAUGHTS CLUB. .The- committee of the above club have 'decided to extend the , time for the completion .; of the second sealed handicap tourney, now proceeding, at the clubroom, to May 16, to give those members who have been unable to attend an. opportunity to play their tourney games. The attenddance of players on club nights has been very good, while the play has been excellent, several of the contestants showing marked improvement on their previous performances'. .' ■ /, MATCH GAMES. Two more games played between Messrs. J. A. Drouillard and Hugh MacKean in theii recent match for £100, were won by the former by five wins to three, and 11 games drawn. Drouillard is described as a new "star" in the- West, and Barker, the American-champion, will have to look to his laurels.
