The fact that the steamer Warrimoo was two days late in leaving Sydney this trip was cot a disadvantage to New Zealand, and Wellington ©specially, as far as mail matter is, concerned. The vessel landed a. largo English and Australian mail of 468 bags to-day, including a Brindisi mail, which in the ordinary course would have come via Auckland, and would not have arrived there before Sunday at the earliest. This particular mail would have arrived in Wellington next Tuesday night.
