ENORMOUS INCREASES.
By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright.
London, May 8. The British Board of Trade's returns show that the imports in April increased by £9,127,000 and the exports increased by £7,384,000 as compared with the figures for April of 1906. The increase in exports is due to a big increase in articles wholly or mainly manufactured. The imports of raw material were £6,500,000 above those of the previous April, and included £4,000,000 for textiles.
