■■■.., Wellington, Thursday. At- the ceremony of opening the Johnsonville post office' the; Hon. . Dr. Findlay (Act-ing-Postmaster-General), referring to the Manawatu railway, agreed that one of the most urgent steps that lay before the Administration was the acquisition of the Wel-lington-Manawatu railway. ;: This important step, lie said, had pressed itself increasingly upon the Government.
