Those present included the Lord Chancellor (Lord Loreburn), the Chief Secretary for Ireland (Mr. Augustine Birrell), the Secretary of State for India (Mr. John Morley), and -Mr. Winston Churchill (Under-Secretary for the Colonies). Mr. John Redmond, who presided, expressed his party's gratitude for the colonial representatives' unvarying sympathy with Ireland.
