A SUCCESSFUL COMPANY.

. Wellington, Wednesday. The first general meeting of the New Zealand Investment, Mortgage, and Deposit Company was held to-day. The company was only formed five months ago, and the chairman reported that business had exceeded expectations. The deposits had been between £11,000 and £12,000, and the total of investments was £27,000.
The remarks of the shareholders were generally of a congratulatory nature.
