Anchor" 'position to the end, Reece, at the Leicester Square Saloon, London, on March 23, brought his game of ■ 7000 tip level with Weiss to a conclusion with an unfinished break of 4593. This-included 2279 consecutive cannons, all but 11 of these being made by 5 the " anchor" stroke. The whole 4593 points were scored in just over 98m.,. In 1 making his last shot Reece hit the .balls. This break of 4593 is the highest ever made under any conditions on an English table, the nearest approach being the 3304 by W. J. Peall by the aid of the spot, stroke in 1890.
