BILLIARDS.

The final game for the amateur billiard championship of the North Island was played at tho Waitemata Club Rooms last evening. The competitors were Messrs. Sweet and Cook. The former, after a very interesting game, won by 275, and compiled the very fine average of 16.5 per cue. The winner was presented with the championship medal (donated by Mr. Ford) at the close of, the game. -
