LACROSSE.
It is anticipated that the Canadian team to visit Australia will arrive in Brisbane on July 14. and will play a match there before leaving for the South (says mi Australian Exchange). The lion, secretary of the Victorian Association recently met the South Australian Cricket Club secretary (Mr. J. Cresswoll) and the South Australian Lacrosse Association secretary (Mr. L. Jones) in conference. The draft proposals for the tour of the Canadian team of players was laid before the meeting. The conference decided to give up the proposal that the team should visit West Australia, as time will not permit. So far. some of the matches are:— 14 (about), v. Queensland, at Brisbane; July 27, v. Australia (first test match), M.C.C. ground: August 3, v. Australia (second test match). Adelaide oval: August 10, v. South Australia; August 17, v. Victor M.C.C. ground; August 24. v. Australia (third test match), Adelaide oval. In all about 14 games will lie played in Adelaide. Ballarat, Bendifo, Melbourne, Sydney, -.md Brisbane.
