EMIGRANTS FOR CANADA.

London, April 4. Emigrants to the number of 1400 have left Liverpool for Canada aboard the steamer South \tark and under the auspices of the Salvation Army.
In March of last year 1400 selected 'unemployed were sent to Canada by the .Salvation Army, ami the Canadian immigration officials reported that they were the best, lot of colonists yet sent to lie Dominion. In July last it was stated that the Salvation Army's emigration department hoped to send 26,000 people to Canada during 1907.
