POTATO AND TURNIP DISEASES

One settler has bad nearly three tons destroyed. Several settlers are bea- y losers. The blight that has affected the turnip crops at Fern ridge is said 10 I'.e similar to Ihe blight that affec ted the turnip crops a few months ago at Portofcello, near Dunedin.
