Tk Akoha has been full of visitors during tho Easter holidays, and the weather, except on Good Friday, has been excellent.
On Monday and Tuesday a very successful bazaar and sale of work was held in the Public Hall in aid of the funds for extinguishing the debt on the vicarage, etc. The result was a net surplus of nearly £150, which is more than sufficient to meet, the liability.
The . Tourist and Health Department is making further improvements in the Domain. A house erected for the head gardener has just been completed, and tunnelling is in progress with a view of tapping an increased supply of hot mineral water for the baths.
