A very enjoyable afternoon was spent by the visitors, who were royally entertained by a committee under the direction of Miss Alison, secretary of the club. When time' was called Miss Biniioy (Auckland Club) and Mrs. Nichol (Romuera Club), fir.-t and second-class players respectively, were the winners of the prizes—a silver sugar bowl with sifter in each case.
