GIVING BAD ADVICE TO
INVESTORS.

London. January 25. The proprietors of M.A.P. (Mainly About People), which offers advice on financial matters to its readers, has been ordered to pay £1400 lost by a seeker after advice, through the city editor of the paper referring the investor privately to an untrustworthy outside broker. Judgment was given against the defendants on the ground of negligence.
