The interest of the large number of spectators present at the Canterbury green today "as almost completely monopolised by the final for the rink championship between Kaituna (Payne) and Taieri (Carswell). In marked contrast to the games of Saturday, both this and the other rink games played afforded only a minimum of excitement foi the assembled enthusiasts, and the result in almost every instance was never in doubt after the first few heads had been decided. The Taieri rink just ilit d the confidence if their numerous supporters by winning the championship with a handsome margin to spare.
