MAN FALLS FROM CARRIAGE PLATFORM. PICKED UP DEAD. [BY TELEGRAVH. — TRESS ASSOCIATION*. Wei.i.i.vC'ton*, Monday. Just before to-night's mail train from New Plymouth steamed into the Otaki station a man. who had been it-tine on the platform of ow of the carriages, fell off. He was found shortly after on the track dead. There is no definite information regarding the man's identity, but lie is believed to have been named Hadtield or Hatfield. Deceased was a through passenger from Auckland.
