In consequence of the storm water on the Kingsland Cricket Ground the monster fete announced in another column will be held on the high paddocks at the Kingsland tram terminus. The latter site is an historic spot, as the ruins of the stone cottage where thefirst Church services and Sunday-school were held in the early fifties mav 'still bo soon. Messrs. Bradncy and Biuns advertise an excursion to Riverhead on Wednesday, 23rd i nst , the boat leaving Queen-street Wharf at hall-past ten a.m.
