Ur.NKUJ.v, Saturday. TiIK stone for the extension of the Selwyn Collegiate School was laid yesterday, by the Primate (Bishop NYvilli, in the presence of a large assembly, Addresses were delivered by the Primate, Bishops .Julius and Wallis, and Dean Fitchett. Bishop Wallis stated that New Zealand schools of this character, though on a, smaller scale, were quite as good, and in. some respects better, than similar institutions in England.
