POLO.
The Remuera Polo Club hold a practice last, Saturday at. Remuora, when several games were indulged in. There was a good attendance of members, ami some good form was shown. Several new members have joined, and all are showing a keen interest in the game, and notwithstanding the late start tile club should have a good chance at the forthcoming tournament, to be held in Auckland. Play will take place every Wednesday evening at half-past live-, and also on Saturdays at three p.m. The paddock is available for paretic* also at any lime. Tile club is holding an "At Home" on Saturday next, 19th iu-i.. when afternoon tea will be- provided by the lady friends of the club.
