THE DILPCSSUND. The barque Dilpussund, which the Union Company purchased with the object of converting her into a coal hulk, is being dismantled and refitted at No. 16, Jervoia Quay. Wellington. She will hold between 9M and 1000 tons of coal when finished. THE LOONGANA.—A UNIQUE RECORD. The Union Steam Ship Company'* turbine steamer Loongana (according to an exchange) has established a unique record since her arrival in .Australian waters two years ago. At. the end of November the vessel had completed 471 trips between Melbourne and Luinieston. in accomplishing which she had Iveen 7883 hours afloat, and covered 130.622 nautical miles, at an average speed of 16.557 knots. The Lootigana has been from the hist, under the command of Captain Livingstone.
