The Competition will start November 1. 1906. and close on April 5, 1907. .10 days before the estimated date for closing the Exhibition. .- The names of the successful Competitors will be published in the newspapers as soon as the Official Returns are issued of the number of persons who have visited the Exhibition. The Manufacturers" decision will be final regarding any question which may arise in connection with this Competition. Dunedin and South Seas Exhibition, held -in Dnnedin during 1889-1890, open five months, was visited by about 626.000 persons. Population of New Zealand in 1889 was 616,052; in 1890, 625.508.
