Tho annual school and settlers' picnic was held on Saturday in Mr. H. Atkinson's paddock, Titiraugi, kindly lent for the occasion, and the weather being glorious the gathering was very largely attended. The usual sports were indulged in, and refreshments were amply provided. The children had each a good book. Tho boys . wore also given a pocketknife and tho girls wore presented with a pcncilcaso each. The usual dance in the school followed.—(Titirangi Correspondent.)
