Tho course of lessons of the five classes of Mr. Geo. Kymo* teacher of the lightning method of music reading, was brought to a close on Friday night last by ? review and concert in thc'Ponsonby Road Church of Christ. The chair was occupied by Mr. Mortimer./ Some interesting" items in sight reading and transposition were given by the pupils, and some "homework" was on view. Mis* Marson's rendering of a fantasia on the pianoforte was highly enjoyed. Two recitations by Mrs. D'AuthVeau were very pleasing. The jubilee melodv, "Goodbye. Brothers," brought the gathering to a close. Mr. Kyme leaves for Melbourne today. MERIT REWARDED BY COURT OF JUSTICE.
