Wellington, Friday. At a sitting of the Court of Appeal this k morning Mr. H. 1). Bell, leader of the Bar, took occasion to compliment Dr. Findlav ' on elevation to the office of Attorney- ■ ■ General, it. being Dr. Findlay's first appearance in Court wince >he assumed that office. 1 Mr. Bell expressed the great sat faction of the 'Bar at the advancement ■of Dr.* Findlay, which was due to his pro-" fessional experience, and t« the honour with : which he had conducted his ratw*, quit*' apart from any political - considerations'" there may have been. The Chief Justice ■'■■■■ said ho was sure his fellow judges would ' agree with him that the high office to which Dr. Findlay had been promoted would be. adequately filled.
