TROUT FISHING.

As the season advances at the Hot L**<* district, anglers continue to increase, an"; in every case gcod sport is being found. ; Among those who have been fairly successful during the past few days are Mr. Mor- ■ - rison and friend, who secured a basket of > 10 nice trout; Dr. Re-id and friend, 9, and Dr. and Mrs. Reid filled their basket with. 22 fish. Mr. Crawley and party, trolling in Lake Rotoiti, caught 20, while the managers of the Rotorua hotels, out in one of the launches for a *horr time- on Monday, caught 11 good trout. ■ Mr«. lies and Miss Bern landed 8, and Mrs. Eraser and Mrs. Onvrcd placed 17 in their basket aggregating +81b. Mr. Can- and friend secured 12, all good fisb, while Mr. Gibbs (.laced 9 to his credit, aggregating 301b. Mr. W. H. ■ Corbett and parly secured 8; Messrs.: See ley and Gillespie, 10: Mi. Maxwell and pa'riv. 10: Mitt'. A. Thomson. 9; Miss Bock, 7: Mr. JMunro 5; and Mi. Ellis and party, 3. -* l Atiamuri. the fishing seems to b<» very good. Messrs.
