SIR JOHN GORST.
[by telegraph.— correspondent.] Te AwAia'TU, Wednesday. Mil. Teasdale, chairman of the Town Board, has received a message stating that Sir John Gorst and party will arrive in To Awamutu on Monday evening next, remaining till Wednesday. Arrangements are now being made to give Sir John a public reception, which will take place on Tuesday. All tho Maoris in the district are taking a very keen interest in Sir John Gorst's visit, and are- to take a prominent part in the reception. The natives say that they intend to welcome him in the real old Maori fashion.
