<•» k [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION, Wangant/i, Thursday. The 21st anniversary of the Baptist Missionary Society was celebrated to-day, Mr. A. S. Adams presiding.' The. report detailed a splendid amount of work done. The treasurer reported that the income on the general fund was £1481. and on special funds £301. The general expenditure had been £1830, leaving a debit balance of £358. The Rev. J. 0. Martin was reelected secretary, and Mr. A. Hoby treasurer. Miss Carson Was elected organising secretary. The Missionary "At Home" in the afternoon was most successful. The speakers were: Miss Inglesby, the Rev. W. 8. Strong, and the Rev. J. C. Martin. ' The collection amounted to £25. The evening meeting was a large, and enthusiastic one. The chairman Mas Mr. H. M. Smeeton, and the speakers Miss Beckingsale, Mi-. A. F. Carey, and the Rev. J. J. North. The collection amounted to £15.
