I hereby give notice that a Meeting of the Ratepayers of tho Borough of Grey Lynn will bo hold on THURSDAY, the eleventh day of October, at St. George's Hall. Great North Road, at 8 p.m., to consider the following proposal of the Grey Lynn Borough Council, to wit— The Grading, Levelling, Formation, Metalling, : Kerbing. and Channelling, and Drainage of the Streets or Roads, also Water Extension on the said streets or roads, within the limits of or bounding the Borough of Grey Lynn, and to enable it so to do to borrow a sum of Fifteen Thousand Pounds, which sum it is proposed to apply and allocate in the following proportions, namely: (a) £2000 in Completion of Roads Formation, Metalling, etc.; U>) £1000 Alterations and Lowering Gas Mains, Water Mains, Sewage Pipes, and payment .of Compensation Claims; (c) £500 Water Extension; (d) £750 Great North' Road Deviation; (e) £5000, Road Formation, Metalling, Kerbing, and Channelling: (f) £4750, completion of present Drainage System, and (g) out of the remaining £1000, the balance of said loan, it is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan, first halfyear's interest, and incidental expenses; such sum of £15,000 to be borrowed upon the security of a special rate of Five-eighths of One Penny in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all Ratable Property in the Borough of Grey Lynn, to be made and levied for the purpose of such Special Loan, such sum of £15,000 to be repaid within Twenty-one Years from the date it is borrowed.
