THE BARQUES TINE DEFIANCE.
EXPECTED TO BE REFLOATED.
The Auckland briganline Defiance, which went ashore inside of the North Spit, Kaipara, several weeks ago, and which was subsequently sold to Mr. Newman, of the Northern Wairoa, is reported to be in a fair way of being refloated. On Monday •: the vessel was afloat at high tide, and the ""'"%*& Ohinemuri left Onehunga yesterday, ; and will make an attempt to tow the Defiance off to-day. If successful the Chinemuri will take the Defiance to Helensville.
