Professor Segal, M.A., gave a lecture in St. Peter's Parish Hall, Onehimga, last night on " Nebula?, Star Clusters, and the Milky Way." Th< lecture was illustrated with limelight views'shown by the Rev. W. Slade. The lecturer detailed the vast strides that had been mack in astronomy since photography had been brought to boar-.on the subject. Sonic of the pictures had been quite recently taken, and the series showed 'the advancement that has taken place- in astronomical photography during thu last 20 years.
