It is proposed by the Waipipi Road Board to raise a Loan under the provisions of The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901, and amendments thereto, of Two Thousand Pounds, bearing interest at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum, and for a period of 41 years, for the following purposes: — Que Thousand Pounds for the purpose of Metalling the Waiuku-Awhitu Road, commencing at the south-eastern corner of allotment No. 142, Waipipi Parish, and continuing along the said road northwards as far as funds will permit One Thousand Pounds for Metalling the Waipipi Wharf-Creamery Road, between -the Waipipi Creamery and the WaiukuAwhitu Road, and for either Metalling or Shelling remainder of the WharfCreamery Road between the WaiukuAwhitu Road and the Waipipi Wharf. As security for; the payment of interest and other charges on the proposed Loan, a Special Rate of Three-farthings in the Pound will be struck and levied on the whole of the ratable property within the boundaries of No. 4 Subdivision, Waipipi Road District, as described in New Zealand Gazette dated April 26, 1888, pages 495-6. The cost of raising the Loan will be,paidi out of the ordinary Jevenue of No. 4 Subdivision, and the Special Rate shall be collected to pay the first year's interest. A. E. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act,- 1901," the Whangamarino Road Board hereby resolves as follows: — That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300 (being 10 per centum on the Waerenga loan of £3000 already raised), authorised to bo raised by the Whangamarino Road Board under the abovementioneel Act, for the purpose of completing the Metalling of a Road from Waerenga Settlement to Wairangi Station, the same Whangamarino Road Board, hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of l-26d in the Pound (£) upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the Waerenga Suecial Rating District, with the exceptions of Sections 481, 499 A, 480, 390, 391. 477 A, 476, 398, 429, 428, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual-recurring Rate during the currency of such Loan, and be payable halfyearly on Ist day of February and the Ist day of August in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until the Loan is' fully paid off.
