Wellington, Monday. The Lauds Committee will meet-to-morrow for the purpose of considering the Land yill. The committee will, it is understood; continue to meet every day during the week, ill order that, if possible, its labours in connection with the measure may be. completed in time to permit of its report being presented to the House on Tuesday of next week. The Minister for Lands is hopeful of lis being accomplished. The debate on (ho second reading of the Hill will in nil probability be taken immediately after the Bill is reported by the committee.
