'•" < • . HOCKEY. 'A trial match was played on the Domain on Saturday afternoon between A and B,hockey teams. The play in the first spell was much in favour of the A team, who scored three, sob!*, Mason .securing two and Young one. In the second spell the A backs played behind the B forwards, and greatly equalised matters, both sides scoring three goals. The A team won by six goals to three. At a meeting, of the residents of Richmond, on Friday night; it was unanimously decided to form a new bowling club, to be known as the Rich--mond Bowling Club. Messrs. Donald, Urwin, and McMaster, jun., were empowered to arrange for a lease of the required property, and make •all other arrangements. This club will occupy and . play upon . the green lately used, by the Grey Lynn Bowling Club.
