FAITH HEALING.

BEDRIDDEN WOMAN WALKS.

Mrs. Jenkins, wife of a weaver, living near Newcastle Emlyn, Walesa recently attended church at Capel Mair to render thanks for recovery from, paralysis. She had been operated on without relief at Swansea Hospital; ,was afterwards visited by Mr. Evan Roberts, and prayer meetings held at her house. She declares that she then saw the Saviour in a vision, and being commanded to walk was able to do so on making the attempt, and had since felt quite better. Mrs. Jenkins lived in a cottage between Llandyssil and New-castle Emlyn. For seven years she had been suffering from paralysis. Prayer meetings have been held on her behalf by , the Rev. W. Williams, the vicar of her parish, Evan Roberts, and others who have called on the sick woman. : Last winter remarkable! revival scenes were witnessed in.. the cottage, and Mrs. Jenkins states that the effect on her system was indescribable, and that a! mysterious, voice told her to leave her bed. *

Recently she had a vision, and on the following day a light flashed through her bedchamber. For a short time afterwards she was in a state of collapse, and discovered that she could move neither' arm nor leg- , , ■-!.;!'; : , /'!■;.';;-'; In her misery, she states, she cried out, "Oh, Father, how much more am I to; endure before Thou wilt reveal Thyself''.' The answer came immediately, "Arise and walk;" and another voice said, "If thou wilt not thou art sure to fall."; Gradually she began to move her arms aud legs until she stood upright. !; Mrs- Jenkins states; that the next halfhour was spent in prayer, when a voice again told her to get "up and dress, but not to leave the house until the Sabbath to attend Holy Communion.; On the morning of'the day named Mrs,, Jenkins, with her husband, attended the?' service, at the church, the vicar stating that her recovery was due to a miracle in answer to prayei."
