Tho base ;will represent the silver, and the upper portion the . gold.;'• Tho court will be formed into four portions, a Maori pataka occupying, one corner and a.gum exhibit. another. The other two portions will display timber, wool, flax, mining, and the many other products of the province. Included in tho display will be shown the product of industries indigenous to the. province, a fine collection of Maori curios and pictures, showing Auckland past and present, giving an idea, of tho enormous growth of the province. The secretary has been instructed to write to the Auckland Harbour Board for an old plan of tho Waitemata Harbour and. on© of the latest, to show the progress of the port. All sorts of statistics in * connection with the Auckland province will be displayed in conspicuous places. The whole of the court will be lavishly decorated with flags and trophies of all descriptions, and Auckland's display should be a unique feature of the Exhibition. ■ It ,is anticipated that: the decorations and arrangement of the Auckland court will cost about £200. The secretary reminds those local bodies who haye not yet forwarded- their contributions that it would -be as well to do so as soon as possible, as the preliminary expenses will have to be met shortly.
