A CHRISTCHURCH SENSATION.

A' sensation was'created in the city this morning by the arrest of F. H. Bruges and his clerk,': James Goodman, oh six charges of theft of money of a total value of £1300, the property of Henry ; Tuck, of Christchurch. The cases arise out of the recent bankruptcy ; of Mr. Bruges, who is a' wellknown solicitor. The cases : were to-day remanded for a week. Bail was allowed in £200.each. and one surety of £200 for each of the accused. < - _ '■■ " .:-■■'■";■ '.-■'
