Wellington*,' Friday. > | Xhb Victoria College Council has decided to appoint a lecturer in physics at £70 a year, to increase the salary of the demonstrator in chemistry to £40 a year, to grant the lecturer in mental science (Mr. T. A. Hunter) an increase of salary of £100 (bringing it up to £400 a year), and to increase the salary of Professor von Zidlitz . ' (modern languages) by £250 a year.
