FIRE AT PALMERSTON NORTH
[BY. TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerstok North.. Thursday. A shop in tho Square, owned by W. Coombes, and occupied by W. Ryan, book and fancy goods seller, was totally destroyed by lire at half-past one this morning. Adjoining premises were damaged by smoke and water. Ryan's stock was insured for £400 in the Commercial,.and the building for £400 in the National and £450 in the Alliance.
