POST OFFICE HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. Pbixce of Wales' niRTHDAT The Prince of Wales' Birthday. Monday, June 4, will be observed as a holiday in the Post Office. Today, June 2, there will be a full delivery of letters, and the Post Office will be open between 7 and 8 p.m. for a delivery over the counter. Mails despatched during Monday will bo closed at 8 a.m. and the usual clearance of strcet-receivcrs will take place at midnight on Sunday. D. CuMMitfG, Chief Postmaster. . MAILS BY TELEGRAPH. For Australian States only, via Sydney, per Rakanoa, will close at Westport to-day at' 7 p.m. On Monday, June 4, for Prince of Wales' Birthday, the chief telegraph offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and ftom 7 p.m. till midnight.
