Mr. Scott passed about two years in Paris, under Professors Jean Paul, Paul Laurens, and Benjamin Constant, gaining first arid second mention in drawing at their rancours. Tie then spent eiorht months in Holland painting interiors. He had a picture accepted in the salon, and' received good notices in the French papers.
